Welcome The Australia Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) is excited to announce the 12th Australian Workshop on Requirements Engineering (AWRE’09). AWRE attracts researchers and professionals from all over the world, and aims to bring together academics and practitioners from Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis to share experiences, present recent research findings, to network and to form collaborative projects. This year, IIBA® Australia is proud to collaborate with AWRE to present this event. Under the theme of “Requirements Analysis for People, Businesses and Communities”, AWRE'09 is a one day event on Friday 2nd October, at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).The workshop will feature a keynote by Professor Paul Swatman, a prominent researcher in Requirements Engineering – one of the founders of the AWRE workshops. This will be followed by research and industry presentations addressing various topics in managing requirements and the requirements process, and developing innovative solutions to business challenges. The workshop will finish with a stimulating discussion panel.
